The BBC Men's travel team entered Rec-a-palooza with high hopes this year of taking home some heavy metal, even if it only was cheap plastic shaped in a way to appear to be metal; hell, even if it wasn't heavy at all.  As long as it looked like a trophy. 

The team started off with a dominant victory against the Minnesota Team Gopher Nuts.  They then fell 2-0 to the well disciplined Cheap Seats, also hailing for the Land of 10,000 Lakes.  Finally, in their last game, the men pulled out an impressive 1-0 victory over North Dakota State, finishing with a 2-1 record in divisional play.

Coach Jason "Speedy" Williams led the team, heart on sleeve, broomball stick in hand, with Fedora perched on top of furrowed brow.  He could be heard exclaiming such inspirational comments such as, "God Dammit, Jason!", "I'm playing like sh*t!", and, "For God's sake, don't play like me!"  But in between these comments, Jason made time to lead the team all the way into the Men's Championship game.

In the Finals, BBC took an early 1-0 against the much rivaled Cheap Seats; however, lost the game 2-1 with 4.2 seconds left in overtime.  Loss aside, the tournament was another fine finish for the BBC Men's team, who have once again stepped up their game to compete with some of the better broomball team across the nation.

Jeff: Official Travel Team "Alcoholic" Dad
Adam:  Most likely to blow his entire load in the 1st minute (2 goals on first shift of tourney)
Dan:  Most likely to experiment with scarfs (The Green Baron Award)
Becky: "Take it like a Mann" Award
Jason: 20 Seconds of Happiness Award
Beth:  Most likely to receive and extra 20 seconds of happiness after the tourney is over
Matt Z. and Kyle:  Most likely to be involved in the wrong kind of Threesome (with Brooks on D)
Michelle: Most likely to attempt to have sex with Jesus
TJ:  Most likely to have a 3-way with Jesus
Kara:  Most likely to take advantage of that senior citizen discount
Brooks: Sugar Daddy
Cory: Twice the man Matthew will ever be
